Lovely Singh (Salman Khan), a bodyguard by profession and at heart, is summoned by Sartaj Rana (Raj Babbar), a business tycoon, to protect his daughter Divya (Kareena). Lovely likes to project himself as brave and risk taking. However, his strange love for his uniform and other such antics end up making Divya a matter of ridicule in her college. She distracts Lovely by calling him and as his mysterious love interest. Lovely’s life is toppled upside-down when he falls in love with the unknown caller. The story takes a twist when he ventures out to find his mystery girl, shielding Divya simultaneously.
