Reps for Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem confirm that Penelope is 4 1/2 months pregnant.
Talk was running rampant as photos of Penelope working on her latest movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, had some guessing the recently married actress was expecting.
Cruz and Bardem met on the set of Christina Barcelona. Cruz, 36, won a Best Supporting Actress Award, and Javier Bardem, 41, won the Best Supporting Actor Award.
This is the first marriage and first child for both of the stars.
