The Queen of Disco, Donna Summer, has passed away this morning after a battle with lung cancer. She was 63 years old and in Florida at the time of her death.
According to those close to the singer, she was trying to keep the extent of her illness under wraps and was also trying to finish up an album she had been working on.
Summer was a 5-time Grammy Award winner who had hits such as "Last Dance" "Hot Stuff" and "Bad Girls." In the 1980s she had hits with "She Works Hard For The Money" and "This Time I Know It's For Real."
