This raunchy late-night cartoon, one of the first productions of ‘Men’s Channel’ Spike (still called TNN at the time the series began), followed the adventures of busty stripper Erotica Jones -
Pamela Anderson - as she worked the pole in strip club Tender Loins, then doubled as secret agent 0069 for T.H.U.G.G., nailing villains like Dr. Cesarean Cheapo (the world’s cheapest super villain, who made his henchmen share a gun) and Pushy Galore (who bred bizarre designer animals). Persephone Cliché (Sirena Irwin) and Giselle (Jill Talley) were fellow strippers, Leonard the gay bartender at Tender Loins, Chief Leonard Stroganoff (Maurice LaMarche) her boss and Special Agent 14 (Tom Kenny) a fellow agent at T.H.U.G.G.
Striperella had plenty of superhero gadgets, like a lie detector in her breasts, a digital scanner under her tongue and big hair that allowed her to float down from tall buildings, but it was probably the digitized full frontal nudity that attracted most male viewers late at night. The show was the creation of comic’s icon Stan Lee. Pamela Anderson commented about her role, “When Stan Lee came to me I told him, I’ll do it as long as I can cut glass with my nipples”.
A Stan Lee creation that was rated TV-MA in the United States.
