MADtv is an American sketch comedy television series based on the humor magazine, Mad. It was first broadcast on October 14, 1995. The one-hour show airs Saturday nights at 11 p.m. local time on Fox and is in syndication on Comedy Central. It was created by Fax Bahr and Adam Small, who wrote for In Living Color and are also responsible for Gary & Mike and Blue Collar TV. The series was originally produced by Bahr/Small Productions and Quincy Jones/David Salzman Entertainment (QDE) in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Since Bahr and Small left the series at the end of the third season (they are currently credited as "executive consultants"), the series has been handled by QDE and Warner Bros. Television. (Warner Bros.' parent company Time Warner owns Mad magazine through its DC Comics subsidiary.)

The Vancome Lady.: It's like I'm watching 'Freaks and Geeks' and the television set isn't even on.

Phil LaMarr: And remember: When you watch Mad TV, it's like making love to us with your remote control.

Belma Buttons: Damn, this flight makes more stops than R. Kelly's limo in a preschool parking lot.
Tovah McQueen: God bless Southwest Airlines, the ghetto bus of the sky.

Connie Chung: You were great in "Chicago".
Catherine Zeta-Jones: Thank you, that means a lot.
Connie Chung: I know what "thank you" means.

Bambi: OK, so one morning, Mickey wakes up and looks outside. He sees "Mickey Sucks" written in urine. Mickey calls the police and they say they have bad news and they have worse news. The bad news is that the urine is Pluto's. The worse news is that it's Minnie's handwriting.

Doreen Larkin: Stuart, what does mama say about little boys who eavesdrop?
Stuart Larkin: Little boys who eavesdrop deserve to know the truth, and the truth is usually devastating.
