Almost too much to list....

My tastes range everywhere from classical to operatic metal. My basic rule is that if I can not understand the lyrics, it's beyond my threshold of appreciation.

Some of my favorites are as follow.
Classical: Love the Russian composers. Tchaikovsky's "March Slav" is my favorite composition. I also like Gustav Holst, J.S. Bach, and John Williams amongst many.
Classic Rock: Foreigner, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Van Halen, Whitesnake, Pat Benatar, and April Wine, etc....
Progressive Metal: such as Yngwie Malmsteen.
Power metal: Manowar, Metallica, Megadeth, Fates Warning, etc.
European (Symphonic / Operatic / Gothic) Metal such as Epica, After Forever, Within Temptation, Leaves Eyes, Xandria, and Evenescence amongst others.

I think it's safe to say I love music. Oh, and I'll never turn down listening to Bob Marley....

Like music, way too many to list. More than anything, I like the movies that promote intrigue and really have me guessing as to 'what comes next' or leave me afterward pondering the various extents or circumstances of the conclusion. I love true to life representations of which my favorites are: "Mask", "Lean on Me", "Stand and Deliver", as well as "Hoosiers", "Coach Carter", and "Brian's Song". I also like a myriad of epics ranging from, "Dr. Zhivago", "Patton", "Dune", and "Dances with Wolves". I would be remiss if I didn't mention I never get tired of watching "Enter the Dragon", and...for my darker side, the variants of the "Hellraiser" movie series is also intriguing.

I could name a chronological timeline of all my favorite from "Johnmy Quest" when I was a kid, but I'll just say that these days I'm usually watching "Criminal Minds", "NCIS", "House", "Rizzoli and Isles". "Necessary Roughness" is also good thusfar.

"Lord of the Rings; the Two Towers"

"Robin Hood" (2010)

Ben Davidson, and the members of Bachman-Turner Overdrive

Foreigner, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Bad Company, Billy Squire, Mötley Crüe, Whitesnake, Rush, Blue Öyster Cult, Pat Benatar, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden.

Various, for various reasons.

Various, for various reasons.

I haven't really kept up on the modeling scene. Back 'in the day', it was Farrah Fawcett and Christie Brinkley.

Bill Cosby and George Carlin (R.I.P.)

Not saying because some of the actors and actresses that participated have also performed in some of the best movies ever. No sense 'opening up old wounds'....LOL

Minnesota Vikings (NFL) - Get to work!~
Portland Timbers (MLS)

Alan Page, Hall of Fame Defensive Tackle for the Minnesota Vikings. Earned his law degree during the off-season and now sits on the Minnesota Supreme Court.

Jesse Owens, for being his best at such a critical time in history.

I'm a dad, husband, heathen, researcher, writer, and independent consultant.

Most of my time is spent either at the computer or with a book in hand taking notes in one form or another. My fields of research are focused in three primary areas: 1) the Viking Era, Old Norse; 2) Constitutional Era America; or 3) Extremist groups, with a focus upon those 'claiming' Constitutional dedications (Patriot Groups) the accuracy of which is rare, or various elements of racism / extremism.

My political views range from liberal to conservative to the extent that I think if everyone else on earth were to disappear that didn't agree with my perspectives, I would be alone. I categorize myself as a 'progressive constitutional federalist'. I'm one that believes that the strength of an individual is facilitated by the acquisition of knowledge, application of such without bias, and adherence to principles and virtues that honour oneself, one's family, and those within one's community. Even so, I also believe that humility should be applied to such in that the wisdom of the lyrics of Kansas' classic rock hit (Carry on My Wayward Son), "If I claim to be a wise man; it surely means that I don't know".

Reading, writing, and wood carving.
